A good night sleep is important for many reasons not to mention better health. Getting a good night's sleep won't cure you from disease, but study after study has found a link between insufficient sleep and some serious health problems, such as heart disease, heart attacks, diabetes, and obesity.
If you are having trouble sleeping you can try melatonin a natural sleep aid the body produces and you can buy at most groceries. Or you can try the 4,7,8 Breathing Meathod for relaxation. Exhale completely through your mouth emptying lungs. Close your mouth and inhale through your nose using a mental count of four. Hold your breath for a count of seven. Exhale through your mouth for a count of eight. This usually does the trick, get a great nights rest.
I work the graveyard shift and it is hard for me to sleep during the day. I find putting heavy sheets for blankets over the windows to block out light helps me to sleep like it is night and not the middle of the day. Thanks for the tips.
